On the 11th of August, at a grand event dedicated to the Builder’s day, Sergei Sobyanin, the Mayor of Moscow handed the winners of the city contest for the Best construction project of 2016. In each of 12 nominations two winners were selected - the Jury’s choice and winner of the open voting. This year, the Main prize and the Special prize were also awarded.
In the nomination "Construction of sports facilities" a special prize was awarded to a sports facility built by Magnum - a soccer field with artificial turf and infrastructure for the Sokol Moskomsport Olympic Reserve Sports School No. 27 (State Budgetary Institution) at 29A Novoryazanskaya St.
Two weeks earlier Sergei Sobyanin in person came to inspect Sokol - new soccer field.
The new soccer field for the Sokol Moskomsport Olympic Reserve Sports School No. 27 is located at 29A Novoryazanskaya St. (Central Administrative District). Its construction began in April 2015 and was completed in December 2016. Classes at the new field have been held since March 13, 2017.
The 105x68 m soccer field is equipped with artificial turf of the latest generation with heating, which allows to use it all year round. The field is also equipped with lighting masts for use in the evening and stands for 99 seats. Next to the field, there is a 2-floor 2.38 thousand m2 administrative building, with a game room (42x24 m), gyms (67 m2), dressing rooms with showers and bathrooms, coach lounges, medical rooms, a buffet and other rooms. The field can be used for training sessions and competitions at the local level. The field can accommodate up to 64 students (when the field is divided into4 mini-fields).
