THE NEW OPEN SPORTS AND FITNESS COMPLEX IN THE CITY OF SEVASTOPOL IS READY TO WELCOME ITS FIRST VISITORS.

In 2020, within the framework of the federal project “Sport is Life Model” included in the “Demography” national project, Magnum supplied multifunctional outdoor fields (Open Sports and Fitness Complexes) to 15 regions. The installation of the sports fields is currently underway.
One of them, in the city of Sevastopol, is ready to welcome its first visitors.

Open Sports and Fitness Complex is a multifunctional outdoor field that can be operated all year round. In summer, team sports such as football, basketball, volleyball, weight training and workout can be practiced here, while in winter the area can be transformed for winter sports.

 

The following equipment was supplied as part of the project:

- 200-meter circular running track, 4 lanes

- 60-meter straight running track, 4 lanes

- 60x30 m hockey box

- 30x60 m artificial grass football pitch

- area for outdoor fitness equipment and a workout zone

- 100-seat grandstand

- sports equipment for long jump and high jump.

 

The specified set of sports zones allows getting an open-type sports complex, which will meet the needs of citizens engaged in sports in the given territory in combination with the optimum occupied area. The base structure of the field is designed in accordance with technical specifications based on the local geological and hydrogeological data.

 

Since 2007, Magnum has been efficiently cooperating with the Ministry of Sports and Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, taking an active part in implementing federal target programs and federal projects aimed at creating conditions for improving public health via developing sports infrastructure and promoting mass and professional sports.

 

 During many years of cooperation, as part of these state initiatives, Magnum has equipped more than 700 sports facilities of various complexity levels in more than 90 regions of Russia.
