Project description

A modern Nara Sports Palace was constructed in Naro-Fominsk (Moscow region) by Magnum, and opened its doors on the 17th of February 2007. The venue was constructed as a part of the regional government project.

The center has an area of 5, 435 m2 and includes: a universal 42 Xx24 m sports hall that can be used for futsal, handball, tennis, basketball, and volleyball, and that is equipped with transformable stands for 394-520 seats, a 25m 4-lane swimming pool, a sauna with a 2m bath, a wrestling and martial arts room (two 7m mats), a gym with modern exercise machines, a sports bar, a medical center, as well as changing rooms, office rooms, and technical and utility rooms,

At the moment the Nara Sports Palace is offers classes and training sessions in: swimming and aqua aerobics, weight lifting, boxing, karate, tai box, football, volleyball, bodyfitness and yoga. The Sports Palace regularly hosts city-scale, regional, national and even international competitions.

The stands capacity is over 394 people (simultaneously), and there are accessible seats for visitors with limited mobility.
